Instant Pot Duo 7in1 Giveaway!

A little while ago, Instant Pot UK offered me the chance to become a brand ambassador for them and every since mine arrived, I’ve loved it. I’m no stranger to a kitchen gadget as regular readers will know and this electric pressure cooker which is quickly taking the place of slow cookers, rice cookers and more traditional stove top pressure cookers all over the world were on my wishlist for a long time. So far, I have absolutely loved it to the extent bar frying an egg for a weekend breakfast sandwich, I haven’t touched the hob in weeks! I’m still learning how great the IP is but I know enough to be thrilled to be able to give one away to one very lucky reader.

instant pot sausage & mash

You can use this handy dandy piece of kit to slow cook, make yogurt, cook rice, sauté food, steam veg as well as the pressure cooker feature. If you have ever thought that slow cooking is not that convenient and the times stated on recipes aren’t workable with your schedule, then pressure cooking may just revolutionise your eating life. It’s certainly doing that for me!

If you are new to the Instant Pot and are wondering what you might use one for, then check out the recipes I’ve created using mine so far. I’ll be bringing you lots more in the fullness of time so do keep checking back to see what I’m up to. Or subscribe to the blog so you will never miss another recipe!

Oh, and i would start with roast chicken….not that i would need to justify a new gadget, but it would be a winner here!

  7. Lynne 14/08/2016 at 18:23 - Reply

Ooh what an exciting competition! The Instant Pot would be perfect for my little kitchen, as I don’t have room for a full sized oven ☺ Am loving your blog posts as always, thanks!

I think I’d try cooking rice first as I’ve never used a rice or pressure cooker but I’m rubbish at rice so hoping this would help!

Would love to gift it to my sister! I have one and am absolutely in love with it. I use it every day, multiple times a day. I’d recommend she first tried a good ol’ fashioned beef stew first, one of her favourites. Can’t go wrong and can be made so quickly.

I think the first thing I’d cook would be a tofu dish. Pressure cooked tofu is lovely as the flavour seems to really penetrate deep inside. Plus I <3 tofu, so there's that!

If I won, I would give it to my mum and recommend that she make risotto first as she adores it but cant bear being over a hob/stove for so long. I know that she’d probably use it fist to cook a casserole for my Granny as she cooks a lot for her when she visits, so this would really cut down her cooking time.
